What we collect through this website, why, and what we do with it.

This policy explains what information Atlas Freight Line Inc ("Atlas," "we," "us") collects through atlasfreightline.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Shipments, broker agreements and driver contracts have their own written terms.
What we collect
What you type into our forms
- Quote requests: your name, company, email, phone, and the load details you give us (pickup, delivery, dates, equipment, commodity, weight and notes).
- Carrier packet requests: your name, brokerage, MC number, work email, phone and any lanes you share.
- Messages: your name, company, email, phone and what you write.
- Driver and owner-operator applications: your name, mobile phone, email, home ZIP code, CDL state, years of experience, how you want to run, endorsements, and for owner-operators the year and make of your truck. If you choose to fill in the optional second step, we also collect your recent carriers and dates, equipment you've run, the number of accidents and moving violations in the last 3 years, whether your license has been suspended or revoked, your CDL and medical card expiration dates and your earliest start date.
What we don't collect on this website
Our website forms never ask for your Social Security number, driver's license number, date of birth or bank information. If you move forward with us as a driver, we collect what federal rules require through a separate, secure application, with your written consent.
Information collected automatically
Like any website, our hosting provider receives basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. We use it to deliver the site, keep it secure and understand overall traffic. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies to track you. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated bots.
How we use it
- To answer your quote request or message and arrange your shipment.
- To set up a brokerage with us and send our carrier packet after we verify the brokerage's authority.
- To review a driver or owner-operator application and contact you about it.
- To keep records of our business and meet our legal and regulatory duties, including FMCSA rules.
- To protect the website, our customers, our drivers and Atlas from fraud and misuse.
Calls, texts and WhatsApp
If you check the consent box on our driver application, we may call, text or WhatsApp you at the number you gave us about your application and onboarding. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP. See our Text Message Terms.
How we share it
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With companies that run services for us, such as website hosting and security (Cloudflare) and email and records (Google Workspace). They may use it only to provide those services to us.
- With carrier onboarding platforms, such as MyCarrierPackets, Highway or RMIS, when you choose to use them. Each platform has its own privacy policy.
- When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Atlas, our drivers, our customers or others.
- With a buyer or successor if Atlas is involved in a merger, sale or transfer of its business.
We do not share your mobile number or your text message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as we need it for the reasons above, and longer when the law requires it, such as records connected to driver qualification and shipments.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and bot protection on our forms. No system is completely secure, so please don't send sensitive information, such as a Social Security or license number, through our website forms or by email.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information you sent through this website by emailing info@atlasfreightline.com. We may need to keep some records when the law requires it.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Other websites
Our pages link to other sites, such as FMCSA SAFER, carrier onboarding platforms and Google Maps. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date.
